The Self-Portrait Box is a simple and creative way to take professional-quality photos — without a photographer in the room. You book a 1 session and take the photos yourself using a small remote control, giving you full control over every moment.

HOW IT WORKS?
BOOK YOUR SESSION
Reserve a 1 or 2 hours Self-Portrait Box session online and choose your preferred time and background colour.
SET THE SCENE
Use any furniture or decorations available in the studio.
TAKE THE PHOTOS YOURSELF
The camera is hidden behind a full-body mirror, allowing you to see yourself clearly, both in the mirror and on a small live preview display. Use a small remote control to take photos at your own pace, with no photographer present.
ADJUST FREELY
The Self-Portrait Box can be moved closer or farther away depending on whether you want portraits or full-body shots.
CHOOSE YOUR FINAL IMAGES
After the session, select how you would like to receive your photos — edited in color, black & white, or as original files (RAW files are available upon request, please inform our stuff before your session).
WARDROBE RENTAL
Want to add something new to your photoshoot or simply don’t have the right outfit? Our studio wardrobe is available to rent for your Self-Portrait session or a photoshoot with a photographer.
The rental includes access to the entire wardrobe — not just one specific dress or outfit. You can choose one look for your session or try on and photograph as many different outfits as you have time for during your booked photoshoot.

PROFESSIONAL LIGHTING ASSISTANT
Want to recreate a specific reference or try something beyond our standard lighting setups?
Add a lighting specialist to your self-portrait session and experiment with custom lighting tailored to your ideas. During a one-hour session, there is usually enough time to try 2-3 different lighting setups, and 3-4 setups during a two-hour session, giving you a wider variety of looks and styles in a single shoot. The result feels surprisingly close to a professional photoshoot — with all the privacy and control that make self-portrait photography unique.

Our studio administrator takes care of the background setup before you start.
You’re welcome to bring up to six people for the Self-Portrait photo shoot, and after the session you decide how you want your photos delivered — edited in color, black & white, or originals.
All images you create will be sent to you within 1-2 days.
